We live in a society where a seemingly endless supply of negativity permeates everything, from news feeds to twitter feeds, from social settings to social networks, and from headlines to hashtags.  Cynicism sells.  But at what cost?  Whether we realize it or not, it seems we are slowly being indoctrinated to fear, to loathe, to criticize, and tragically, to hate.

But we must realize this is not our natural state.  God, through his Grace, has given us a roadmap to access the elements to combat this cynicism, and it's called the Fruit of the Holy Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control (Galatians 5:22-23).  We know that Grace, the unmerited favor that God gave to humanity, does not have to be earned. God wants us to enjoy it freely and in great supply; he wants us to be happy.

This website is dedicated to serving our community and exploring the good; the people, places, and things in this community that are good, and by extension the things that reveal the "Fruit" in each of us. This is how we must combat, and ultimately defeat the cynicism that is so prevalent today.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (Ephesians 4:29).
